Terms of use
Last set in type: July 2026
The deal
The Site Post is free to browse, free to post and free to apply. Optional paid placements (boxed ads, incognito notices, agency plans) are described on the rate card. We are a notice board, not an employment agency: contracts for work are made directly between the poster and the applicant, and we are not a party to them.
House rules for notices
Notices must be genuine, lawful, and related to the listed trades. Banned: misleading pay claims, fees charged to workers, discrimination contrary to the Equality Act 2010, and duplicate spam. The desk may edit for style, decline or remove any notice, and may suspend posters who break the rules.
Accuracy & liability
We check notices for obvious problems but cannot verify every claim. Confirm details (pay, site, right-to-work requirements, CSCS) with the poster before travelling. To the extent permitted by law we are not liable for losses arising from the content of notices or from dealings between posters and applicants. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
Paid placements
Paid placements run for the stated period. If we remove a paid notice for breaking house rules, the fee is not refunded. Statutory consumer rights are unaffected.
General
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. We may update them; the date above shows the current edition.
